KELLY, Gary R. age 41 of Fairfield, Ohio, formerly of Dayton, died August 13, 2007 in transit to University Hospital, Cincinnati. Born October 28, 1965, he was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Bob and Velma Hemelgarn, and paternal grandparents, Dewey and Eileen Westfall. He is survived by his mother, Carol Smith (Bruce) of Fairborn, and father, Robert Kelly of Dayton; brothers: Jeff Kelly (Cheryl) and Don Kelly (Claire), both of Dayton; uncle, Ron and Helen Hemelgarn of Michigan; aunt, Dee Eberhart of West Milton. He will be missed forever by his loving daughter, Alyssa Kelly of Vandalia. She filled his heart with love, joy and pride. He had one nephew, Desi, many cousins and other relatives who loved him. He had a special friend, Kim, who stood by his side, and lifelong friends from Lincoln Elementary and Belmont High who always remained a "team" to him. He was employed by Pak/Teem Inc. in Sharonville for many years. Gary suffered greatly from RDS over the past decade; he now rests without pain. Funeral services will be held at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering at 11:00 am Friday. Pastor Rob Wackerman officiating, with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5 to 8 at the funeral home. A college trust fund has been established for his daughter, Alyssa Kelly.
