To Joanne, and everyone that George Loved: Our hearts are broken by the untimely passing of our Dear Uncle George. He was a joy to be around- He always had a colorful joke or story to tell, and always had us in stitches. He was a wonderful Uncle, Husband, Father, and Best Friend to my Father. He will be dearly missed and the world will be a little less bright with out his smile.

p.s.I hope that wherever he is, he is fishing.

Joanne, I was so saddened and shocked to hear about George, and so very sorry. He was happy all the time and gone way too soon. I will miss seeing him at the market.

I worked with George at Nissen Bakery and he was fun to be around. To hear the stories of Gonzo and him on a day or night out was always great and happy to hear. And the one more thing is the one fly he tied for me. I will miss him. I saw him last summer here in Glenburn and I feel very sad for this loss of a good friend. John Trainor

We are saddened to hear of George's passing. We had a great time growing up together, catching grass snakes, snowshoeing, and just exploring the river banks in our younger years. We were all like family. He was one kind and special person. My sisters and I send our condolances.

My dad, my friend. I have never cried so hard or so long and I'm not done. I love you daddy to the moon and back. I hope you get to fish everyday from now on and I am going to sit beside you again and steer the boat. No one could have a better dad than my dad.
