I had the pleasure of playing outfield with George my first year in the HOSSPA league. Great memories - our team won the League & Playoff Championships that year. George was always smiling. A really nice guy & excellent ballplayer. Sorry to learn of his passing. He will be missed. My sympathies to his family.

Dear Marlene, Nancy, Kim, Patrick and Tracey and all of your families. I am so, so very sorry for your loss. I considered George to be one of the best. Always cheerful and smiling - and his laugh was unforgettable. He will be remembered with much fondness. Big hugs,Sandra Hart (nee Wunderlich) xoxox

George was a very special person always smiling and helping his neighbors. His flowers were beautiful and colorful. He will be greatly missed at the trailer park, especially Hickory Hollow. Pretty sure he will be playing baseball in heaven. God always takes the special people away from us much too soon! We offer our deepest sympathy to Marlene and all his family and friends.

George was the best neighbor you could ask for. Always cutting our grass and helping us carry groceries in. Before I retired I would come out to my trailer and find my grass already cut. That was such a treat. He continued to cut my grass even after I retired. He always beat me to it. I will miss his laugh and my mother (92) will miss his hugs. Our heartfelt condolences to Marlene and her family. I know he will always be watching over you all.
