Harold Lewis Obituary
Mars Hill - Harold G. Lewis, 73, of 36 Stone Cottage Rd., died February 15, 2013 at Mission Hospital Memorial Campus. He was a lifelong resident of Madison County, the son of the late Welzie and Mami Buckner Lewis. Mr Lewis was an Army Veteran and member of Old Bull Creek Baptist Church. He is also preceded in death by a brother and sister in law Welzie Lewis Jr. and wife Flossie.
Mr. Lewis is survived by wife, Rita Lewis; sons, Jody Lewis (Mandy), Daniel Lewis (Jackie) and Dwayne Lewis (Tiffany); brother, Tom Lewis (Ruby) and 6 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Revs Carl Robinson and Eddie Fox will officiate. Burial will be 11 a.m., Thursday, February 21 at Old Bull Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. Wednesday, prior to service.
