Helen KUKURA Obituary
January 12, 1955 - December 20, 2013
On December 20, 2013, Helen Kukura of Edmonton, AB passed away after a brave battle with cancer at the age of 58.
Helen's strong, loving, and independent spirit will be cherished by her loving partner, Keith Haxton; her children, Dale (Allyson) Fong, Leanne Fong, Julie Fong; her grandchildren, Marlee, Braddock; her siblings, Sylvia (Bob), Joe, Mary Anne (Keith), Jerry (Lynn), Ed, David (Jody), Jim (Connie); and many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brothers, Tony in 1977 and Michael in 1960. We are relieved she is at peace and she will always remain in our hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Hainstock's Funeral Home, 9810-34 Avenue, Edmonton (followed by a Celebration of Life at the Royal Glenora Club). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital.

I an so sorry to hear of Helen's passing. My sincere condolences to you Keith and her family. She doesn't have to suffer any more and is in a better place. Perhaps her and Gerry are busy playing ball up there.

Our hearts go out to Dale, Allyson, Marlee, Braddock, Leanne, Julie and of course Helen's beloved Keith who fought the battle along side of her. We also extend our thoughts to Andy and Helen's brothers and sisters.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be missed by her family and all the life's that she touched.
We will be thinking of you all as you celebrate her life and are sorry that we can not be with you.
