Mr. Eaddy was born Oct. 28, 1936, in Lake City, a son of the late James Ezra Eaddy and Vera Mae Lyerly Eaddy. He was a member of Browns Chapel United Methodist Church, a long-time farmer, and owner of Eaddy Packing Company.
Survivors include, his wife, Shirley Fogle Eaddy; a daughter, Tracy Thompson (Bill) of Florence; a son, Lee Ezra Eaddy (Betsy) of Garden City; a granddaughter, Elise Eaddy of Garden City; three grandsons, Barron Thompson of Florence, Bryce and Sommers Eaddy, both of Garden City; a sister, Katie Rose Morrow (Ben) of Gastonia, N.C.; two brothers, Billy Eaddy (Betty Jo) of Lake City and Dan Eaddy (Peggy) of Myrtle Beach; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Eaddy will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 17, 2008, at Browns Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Powells Cemetery, Prospect Community.
Memorials may be made to Browns Chapel United Methodist Church, 2987 Johnsonville Highway, Lake City, SC 29560.
Brockington Funeral Home, Lake City, is in charge.

It was with sorrow I heard of the loss of my uncle.
I am very glad to have traveled to SC and visited him, my aunt Shirley and cousins several years ago.
Take care each of you and may the grace of God protect you and give you strength and comfort at this time.
