JAMES G. MOSLEY, SR.

James G. “Bus” Mosley, Sr. of Dover died Friday, August 13, 2004 in his home. He was 79.

Mr. Mosley was born in Cheswold, Del. to the late Joseph and Alberta Carney Mosley on October 26, 1924. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Mr. Mosley worked for W. H. Morgan and Son, from the time he was sixteen, doing many jobs including, farming, truck driving, and truck mechanic. He continued with this company until the owner retired. He then worked as a mechanic for C. F. Schwartz Motor Company, Dover. Mr. Mosley enjoyed both vegetable and flower gardening, Nascar, his many pets over the years, at one time hunting, and was a N.Y. Yankees fan.

Mr. Mosley was predeceased in death by two brothers, to sisters, and a great grand daughter. He is survived by; his wife of 59 years Doris N. Mosley; a son, James G. Mosley, Jr. of Dover; three daughters, Christine E. Jones of Camden/Wyoming, Delaware, Barbara A. Munson of Hammonton, and Janine E. Mosley of Hartley, Delaware; three grandchildren, Claude Pritchett, Lance Pritchett, and Michelle Hunter, and four great grand children. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2004 in the Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover Del., where friends may call Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. Interment will be in the Garden of Honor of the Sharon Mills Memorial Park, Dover, Delaware.
