Jose Tavares Obituary
Jose is survived by: his parents Jose F. Tavares and Maria I. Tavares of Hilmar; son Joe Tavares of Ceres; son Paul Tavares of Ceres; and son John Tavares of Stevinson; brothers Luis Tavares of Delhi and Jermiak Tavares of Hilmar; sister Lucia Jorge of Hilmar; his spouse Evangelina Tavares of Ceres and his fiancée Nidia Cabral of Hilmar.
Mr. Tavares was a dedicated parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hilmar.
A visitation for Jose will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service: 286 West Main, Turlock, California 95380. A rosary service will occur from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church: 8471 Cypress Street, Hilmar, California 95324.
A funeral service will occur at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church: 8471 Cypress Street, Hilmar, California 95324. A committal service will occur Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at N. Hilmar District Cemetery: 8710 N. Tegner Road, Hilmar, California 95324.

My dear big brother...I love and miss you tons. This world without you won't be the same. Your silly stories will be missed. Saddens me deeply to think you'll never call me on my birthday. I know you're no longer suffering, but a piece of my heart died the day you left us. Rest In Peace. Until we see each other again.
