Kenneth Hochholzer Obituary
He was born on December 8, 1924, in Clemscott, Oklahoma, the son of the late Myrtle and Frank Hochholzer.
He proudly served in the Pacific during WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. After the war, he attended the University of Alabama. He was retired from the Birmingham Jefferson County Transit.
Mr. Hochholzer was a member of Meadow Brook Baptist Church.
He was proceeded in death by his wife of sixty-two years, Virginia Hochholzer and his sisters Loweta Newsome, Virginia Eulenstein, and nephew Charles Edward Cunningham.
Mr. Hochholzer is survived by his daughter, Diane H. Eward; granddaughter, Elizabeth Markeles and her husband Kevin; great grandson, Gabriel Markeles; nephews James Cunningham, Steve Marks, and Bill Marks.
Graveside service was held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Elmwood Cemetery.
