Louis DeMaio Obituary

Louis M. DeMaio, age 83, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at his home with his family by his side.

Louis was a WWII Navy veteran and received the WWII victory medal, He was a retired electrical engineer for G.E. Electronics and was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Deltona. Louis loved music and model airplane building and also enjoyed golfing.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Joan DeMaio; a daughter, Tammy (Steve) Halter, 4 sisters, Lucy (Charles) Gross, Rose Panko, Emily Preato and Louise Salvatore; 2 loving grandchildren, Emily and Megan Halter.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 27th from 5-8 pm at Deltona Memorial Funeral Home, 1295 Saxon Blvd., Orange City FL 386-775-4260. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, April 28, 2011 in Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Deltona at 10 am. Interment will follow in Deltona Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
