MACKAY, Lynn Patricia (nee Smith)
Passed away at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus on Monday, August 9, 1999 from complications of Waldenstorm's Macroglobulinemia (a rare blood cancer) at the age of 63 years. Loving wife and very best friend of Jim MacKay. Beloved mother of Brian (Natalie) and Andrew (Melanie. Cherished grandmother of Kevan. Daughter of Percy and Harriet Smith both predeceased. Dear sister in law of Kathleen (Ray) Blanchard and aunt of Lynn Brown and Renee Haynes all of Virginia Beach. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be on Thursday in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Lynn to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the International Macroglobulinemia Foundation (U.S.A.) would be greatly appreciated. 'Lynn fought her cancer with great courage and will be missed by many.'
