Nora G. Honaker Jones

MEMPHIS – Mrs. Nora G. Honaker Jones, age 58, passed away Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, in Baptist Hospital, Memphis.
Born Oct. 3, 1958, in Bandy, Va., she was a daughter of Betsy Reynolds Musick of Gardner, Va., and the late Marvin Musick. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Musick, and one sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Carlos Peck.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her spouse, Randy Glover of Kansas City, Kan.; two daughters, Marsha R. Honaker Jackson and her husband Terry L. Jackson Jr. of Memphis and Melissa R. Johnson of Bristol Tennessee; one son, Jackie Darrell Honaker II and his wife Anna of Bristol Virginia; five grandchildren, George William Gloyd, Kelsey Nicole Gloyd, Janet Marie Johnson, Ty Jackson and Morigan Hayes Jackson; four sisters, Opal Marie Patrick of Lebanon, Shirley Ann Peck of Tazewell, Eula Mae Peck of Honaker and Thelma Ball of Belfast; eight brothers, Harold Reynolds of Swords Creek, George Marvin Musick, Sherman Lee Musick, Lacy J. Musick and Jessie Ray Musick, all of Honaker, Danny Joe Musick of Drill, Stanley Clifford Musick of Finney and Dennis Wayne Musick of Gardner; many nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, with Rev. Randall Shaffer officiating. Interment will follow in the Reynolds Cemetery on Kent's Ridge, Va. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Honaker Funeral Home one hour prior to the funeral.
