67 of Pittsburgh died Sunday February 28 2010 in UPMC Monefiore hospital. She was born January 1 1943 in Jeannette a daughter of the late William Paul and Matilda Helen Hayes Frey. She was a graduate of California High School, earned her Bachelors in education at California university of Pennsylvania and then 3 masters in Reading specialist, School Psychology, and Counseling. Ms. Frey worked in the Pittsburgh Public Schools System as a reading specialist until her retirement in 2000. She is survived by a son Darrin Paul and wife Maryellen Gamble of Apollo, a daughter Heather and husband Tim Mihalek of Washington, a brother Bill Frey of dallas, Texas, and 3 grandchildren Tabitha Storm Gamble, Lauren Mihalek, and Patrick Mihalek. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by NICHOL FUNERAL HOME 1873 East maiden street Washington, pa 15301.
