Robert E. Woodworth

(Clarendon) - Robert E. Woodworth, “Rotten Robert”, age 77, died January 22, 2009, in Lakeside Hospital, following a long illness. He was born December 12, 1931, in Rochester, and was a lifetime resident of this area.Mr. Woodworth was the last Active Charter Member of the Clarendon Fire Company, a co-founder of the Clarendon Ambulance Company, was a former Zoning Board Member and Bingo Inspector for the Town of Clarendon. Robert was predeceased by his parents, Elwyn and Elizabeth Woodworth. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marion; his son, Stephen “Woody” (Linda) Woodworth of Brockport, daughter, Merrie (Robert) Woodworth-Brice of Brockport; sisters, Roberta (Reid Gates) McDermott of Rochester, Nancy (William) Bartlett of Brockport, Sharon Burns of Colorado; his adopted family, Janet and Bob Koehler of Clarendon; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. There are no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend Bob’s Memorial Service SUNDAY at 1 PM at the Clarendon Rec Hall. Interment at the convenience of the family.
