Ronald Bernard Obituary
Born February 18, 1941 in Geneva, he was the son of Hazel (Ernst) and Fred Bernard.
He was a delivery man for Active Plumbing and Chardon Auto Parts.
Ronald was a 1960 graduate of Madison High School. He enjoyed golfing and bowling and was involved in three golf leagues and three bowling leagues in Madison, Mentor and Painesville. Ronald played slow pitch softball until the age of 47 when he was "side-lined" due to injuries. He was very proud of his grandchildren, Brady, Lauren and Andrew who played hockey and Sydni who was a dancer.
He is survived by his daughter, Renee (Jeff) McConnell of Cranberry
Twp., PA; son, Chris (Donna) Bernard of Madison; grandchildren, Sydni, Brady, Lauren & Andrew; mother, Hazel Bernard of Madison; brothers, Lynn (Barbara) Bernard of Canandaigua, NY, Gerald (Maryann) Bernard of the
Phillippines; sister, Jan (Lee) Warren of Madison.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Private family graveside services will be held at North Madison Cemetery in Madison.
Arrangements are being handled by The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River
St., Madison.

I didn't realize your dad graduated from Madison. No wonder why he's been one of Madison's #1 sports fans for all of these years. You could always see the kindness, love and pride in your dad's eyes - he loved his kids and grandchildren so much! What a great role model of love and strength he has been. You are in my prayers in this time of sorrow! I hope the wonderful memories of him bring some comfort!
