Rose-Ann Leo Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jan. 31 to Feb. 2, 2023.
Rose-Ann Leo (nee Lickert) November 11, 1954 - January 17, 2023

Rose-Ann Leo, 68 of Euclid passed away peacefully on January 17th surrounded by loving family and friends, following an unexpected hospitalization for complications of a recent illness. She is survived by her husband of 25 years Victor A. Leo III, and sisters Mary Louise (John) Rusek and Jennie-Jo (Steve) Tuckerman. "Rosebud" was a loving and devoted daughter to Howard (Hug) and Louise Lickert (nee Kaller) and cared for them in their final years. She was a beloved friend to many. She lit up the room with her laughter, and always found a reason to celebrate. Her beautiful soul was constantly seeking to help others and to make people feel genuinely good about themselves. Rosie loved sending cards for every occasion or just to make your day. She loved to bake and was always making apple pies or cookies to give to someone to cheer them up. She made instant friends with people of all kinds everywhere she went. Rose was truly grateful for all the blessings in her life, especially her husband, and whenever she talked about him she would smile ear to ear and say "he is wonderful." She was an avid Ohio sports fan, raised orchids, loved animals, and loved life. She will be deeply missed. Plans for a Celebration of Life will be forthcoming.

A GoFundMe account in her name has been established to help ease the financial burden from medical costs and final expenses.

I met Rosie in 9th grade and we became instant best friends. I´m a Rosie two. She was Rosie number one. We had many fun times in high schools and even after I moved away, we still managed to have many a good time. . She was generous and loving to everyone. And I miss her a lot

It's still difficult to realize that our unique and big-hearted Rose has left us so soon - she baked the best pies ever and was a resolute sender of cards who generously included scratch off lottery tickets (sharing her good luck, some of them were winners!), grew perfect orchids and decked the halls every year with childlike enthusiasm. Rose loved Victor to the moon and back and insisted I call him by his given name in her presence. A precious soul and now a truly free spirit - I will see you on the other side, Rosie!

Rosie was a sweet, loving friend, with an big laugh. She was more than just my friend, she was a part of my family. I have so many memories that I will cherish forever. I miss you but, I know you are resting in peace now. As she would always say as our conversation ended, "Love you more" my friend.
See you next lifetime - Shirley

My dearest of friends , Rosie as I liked to call her,was and in my mind still is a terrific person, friend and wonderful wife to my good friend Victor. I could only wish to have such a friendly, sweet, loving woman like Rose for a mate and wife. Many good memories my family and I had over at the lake house, where friends were always welcomed to come on down to the beach. My children always loved coming over to see fireworks, share time and good food with all the good friends of theirs , then couldn´t wait to be invited down to play all the fun the games downstairs. We all have yet to realize Roses absence and am sure it will be felt in the future as we look forward to coming back to the lake house and savor all the great memories. Bless her soul Lord and put your arm around her give her a hug and a for me and my entire family and all her many friends. See you in heaven one day my dear friend.

Rose was more a sister than a cousin to me. We have shared so much through our lives and I am so thankful and blessed to have had someone like this in my life. I know she is smiling and happy where she is now. I will miss her phone calls and cards and her voice. But she will always live in my heart and memories.

I really miss my sister including her smiling face and contagious laughter. Sisters are so precious. I am comforted knowing she had a great life which included her loving husband, family and lots of friends. So many great memories. Rosie will be greatly missed.
