I went to grade school with Scott and then re-connected later in High School through a mutual friend Glen Mathias. I remember a Superbowl tradition with Glen and Scott that started with the 85 Bears and continued until several years after Scott moved to Tampico. Scotty was a phenomenal songwriter and I was blown away when he gave me some of his tracks and then later heard other songs he had written recorded with other musicians. I had a lot of good times and laughs with Scott and will always remember his warm smile. In the ever-after I can imagine Scott and Glen right now kicking back and listening to In Memory of Elizabeth Reed. RIP buddy

When I heard the news, I felt tremedous sadness. Scott was one the finest person I met. I Remember giving him the nickname Squirel when I worked with him. He used to call me his favorite French man. I WILL miss him dearly. One of my dearest friend.

Scotty was a friend introduced to me by another. Musicians all, his computer savvy got me into recording, a gift that even today I think of Scotty when I am putzing. He sold me one of his own computers and I was actually sad when it was time to replace it. And a great songwriter/guitarist. Time hasn't allowed contact for some time, and now has run out. For that I am sorry. And so sorry for all the family, he left far too soon and my heart cries for you all. And all of his friends that mourn.
