Scott Daniel Ward

In loving memory of Scott Daniel Ward, who was born on the 26th of June, 1977, in Greenwood, SC. He was taken from us too soon on January 21, 2024, at the age of 46, in High Point, NC. Scott was the cherished son of Mary K Ward and Royal C Ward, Jr., a devoted brother to Ryan C Ward and Jennifer Ward Sholar, and an adoring father to his two sons, Finnley and Emerson Ward.

Scott's early education was at Hanahan High School, and he further honed his knowledge at Bellevue University. His professional journey led him to a respected position at GE Aerospace as a Lean Leader, where he began contributing his talents in January 2023.

Those who knew Scott will fondly remember him as a proud father, a loyal son and brother, and a steadfast friend. His work ethic was unyielding and his goals were met with unwavering determination. The outdoors brought him great joy; he was often found hiking, gardening, or grilling. His love for Clemson college football was only paralleled by his enjoyment of golf.

Scott's life was one of balance-his light-hearted demeanor and ability to savor the moment were his gifts to us all. He navigated life with grace, compassion, and a kind heart that made every personal and professional interaction meaningful.

The Ward family respectfully invites those who wish to honor Scott's life to attend a service at Restoration Community Church on the 17th of February, 2024, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

As we bid farewell to Scott, we are reminded of the indelible imprint he left on our hearts. His spirit, love, and memories will be treasured and he will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of sharing in his journey through life.
