Dziepak, Theodore "Ted" E
90 of Toms River died Wednesday February 11 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He was a chemical operator for thirty years and worked at Tenneco Chemical, Fords before retiring in 1978. Born in Perth Amboy, he lived in Peoria, AZ for thirty years before recently moving to Toms River. He enlisted in the Army 101st Airborne Parachute Infantry 506 and served from 1942-45. He parachuted into Normandy on D Day and the Netherlands. For his bravery, he was awarded the Bronze Star and also received the Purple Heart, both in 1945. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 2135, member of American Legion, DAV all in Peoria, AZ. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Bette A Dziepak, daughter Ann Louise Dziepak of Toms River, son William V and wife Nina, grandchildren Teddy and Adele, great granddaughter Sage all of Greensburg, KY, also four nephews & four nieces and many great nephews and nieces. Visitation is Saturday from 4-7 PM at Oliverie Funeral Home 2925 Ridgeway Rd Manchester. Funeral services are Saturday 6 PM at the funeral home.
