Thomas McKinley

Thomas Edward McKinley died unexpectedly on March 28, 2023, at a hospital in Savannah. He was born May 10, 1966, in Passaic, New Jersey, son of David McKinley and Bette Jane Fleming. With comfort, we know that Bette Jane was there to receive him. Tommy appears to have passed in his sleep and did not suffer. He has had a rough battle with his health over the past few years and is now finally at rest.

He is preceded in death by his mother Bette Jane; and his loving partner, Pauline Darragh. His siblings, Tami McKinley, Kerry O'Neal and Alea McKinley are in a state of disbelief as they process his passing. His father, David, is mourning the loss of his son.

He leaves behind a legacy of three beautiful daughters, Brooke Brewer, Taylor Perkins and Kendall McKinley; and three amazing grandchildren, Kinzleigh, Kase and Natasha. His ex-wife, Christi Anderson, has also stood by him through many years as his health had begun to decline.

Tommy was particularly close to his aunts, Sue Fleming and Karen Cassidy. They have held a special place in his heart as they have cared for him since his mother passed. They have been by Tommy's side through multiple medical issues and helped him regain his strength time and time again.

Tommy graduated from Glynn Academy in Brunswick. He was active in sports and had a love for baseball. Through life he developed a skill for woodworking and would make beautifully crafted pieces for friends and family. He also had a made skill of mastering a Rubik's Cube.

He was a dedicated long-time employee at Pine Valley Concrete Co. Lynn Boatright was also a cherished friend throughout many years.

His passing has sparked a renewal in the knowledge that life is too short. Although we may have drifted apart, we have always been together in spirit and love. Please reach out to a loved one in his honor.
