Tina Bevilacqua Obituary
Tina immigrated from Italy after surviving World War II, she settled in Boston where she was a master seamstress on Newbury St. In a whirl wind romance she met then married her beloved Victor on August 15, 1954. From there, they made their large Italian family and eventually settled in Buzzards Bay where she became known to the town as "Nonnie" (Grandmother in Italian). Tina is well known for Italian cooking and her love of children. She remained in Buzzards Bay until she passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.
She is FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED, OUR NONNIE, OUR MOTHER.
Visiting hours are being held from 9- 12PM on Saturday May 6th at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. Bourne, MA. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30PM at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Parish, 841 Shore Rd, Pocasset, MA. I am sure that your Mom is in heaven feeling very proud of the beautiful, strong minded family she has brought up. She gave us all who know you, the gift of you, as you enjoyed the gift of a beautiful courageous Mom. What can one say at a time like this. My thoughts are with all of you. I remember her from when I was a teenager. She always had a welcoming smile for a hungry teenager. Her meatballs and gravy were the best. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the whole family.
