Vincent "Jimmy" Veneziano, 85, lifelong resident of Newark, passed away on April 2, 2017, at St Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston. He was a SGT. in the Army during the Korean War. Jimmy was a member of the Amvets Post # 26 and American Legion Post 299 both of Belleville. He was an electrician in I.B.E W., Local 102. Arrangements are by the Zarro Funeral Home, 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield. ( www.zarrofuneral home.net). Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8pm. A funeral home service will be at 11:00am on Friday, April 7th followed by the burial at Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield. Jimmy is survived by his loving son, Glenn Veneziano; cherished grandchildren, Samantha and Vincent; brothers, Richard and Salvatore Veneziano; nieces and nephews, Anna, Dolores, Philip, Debra, Vincent, and Salvatore; and many great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Dora and Philip Veneziano; brothers, Victor and Philip Veneziano and sister, Nicolena Spagnoula.
