BETTY PRINE
DELPHOS — Betty I. Prine, 93, of Delphos, passed away on Friday September 4, 2015, at Vancrest Healthcare Center of Delphos.
She was born December 30, 1921, in Franklin, Ohio to Glen and Jenny (Kelly) Truax. Both preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Robert E. Prine Sr.on August 29, 1945 and recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. Sadly, Bob preceded her in death on September 1, 2015.
She is survived by two sons, Glen (Janet) Prine of Delphos and Gary (Laura) Prine of Kendallville, IN; two daughters, Irene (Donald) Lehman of Delphos and Sheila (Doug) Metzger of St. Mary's; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Georgia Bradford of Kendallville, IN; one brother, Charles (Izie) Truax of Van Wert; two sisters, Emma (Bob) Beams of Marquette, MI, and Shirley Murphy of Findlay; sister-in-law, Norma (Don) Moore of Grover Hill.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John Truax; five sisters, Jerry Stopher, Clara Marie Truax, Rose Walter, Sue Kautz, and Pauline Speakman; son-in-law, Sam Korte; grandson, Kevin Korte.
Betty was a housewife and a member of the Christian Union Church, the Mary Martha Bible Class, and was a graduate of Van Wert High School.
A celebration of life service for Bob was scheduled for September 5; however, with Betty's passing on the 4th, the family made the decision to reunite their parents and bring their 3 day separation (the longest in their relationship) to an end. Burial for both was in Ridge Cemetery.

Love and miss you Betty. You taught me so much. You shared your love unconditionally, and you were a great woman, Mother, Grandmother, and most important a child of God.
