Baricko, Elizabeth

Elizabeth (Meszaros) Baricko entered into the eternal life on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at the age of 92. She was born in Brownsville, PA to the late Frank and Mary Meszaros. She lived in Yonkers, NY before moving to Guilderland. Elizabeth had a strong devotion to the Blessed Mother, the Mass, and the Rosary. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, and reading. Elizabeth was a lover of nature.

Along with her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, John Baricko, in 2003; children, Joan Baricko in 1944 and William Baricko in 1969; and siblings, Frank, Mary, Margaret, Louis, and Anne. She is survived by her daughter Janice Hauck and her husband Jack; three cherished granddaughters, Kelly Hauck, Devon Hauck and Katie (Ciro) Stefano; youngest sister Helen Gelston, and several nieces and nephews.

A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday at 9:30 am at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville, NY. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Yonkers, NY. In place of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Hospice Inn, 315 South Manning Boulevard, Albany, NY 12208 in Elizabeth's name.
