George was one of a kind. He was funny and generous but most of all knew when to listen. There was never a time when I felt uncomfortable with him. Every time the thought passes through my mind that he is no longer there to send an email or call every once in a while a feeling of deep sadness comes over me. I adopted him (without him knowing it) as a big brother. A light of hope. I remember when he asked me to umpire at Shed Park. Thank god he came to check on me because I thought the coaches were going to kill me. I was a little worried about the kids too but I felt I could run faster than they could. I played my share of golf with him in Mass and in Florida. Florida golf was great! George would set it all up. Everything from picking Kim and I up at the airport to dropping us off, although Michelle usually took care of dropping us off. I could go on and on with stories about George (the G-man) as could all of his friends and family. The last couple of times I was with George we did some reflecting on our lives. I will never forget your advice George. I hope that when we all think of George we smile. My thoughts are with The Carnevale’s. I felt like I was just getting to know you all. Michelle and the girls, you have always been caring and accommodating, funny and pleasant. We will always be there for you

To my cousin George,
I shall always cherish the memories I have of our childhood growing up together from badmitton games to wwf at thanksgiving. I went from babysitting you to hanging around with you. The cousin's reunions won't be the same without you. I know my loss can't compare to that of Michelle &your girls, your mom & dad or your brothers, it is however a great loss to me one that has left me saddened. You will remain in my heart forever. You were one funny guy! Love, Your cousin helen
