Dear Tom, Marilyn, Jim, Dolores, Charles and families.
I was so sad to hear about Debora. She was like a Guardian Angel to me when we were growing up in Brasil. I am reminded of a time when there was a sudden downpour and everyone was running to get out of the rain. Since I could never run fast, she came running to me with an umbrella to help me get out of the rain. This is just one example of the compassionate and loving person that she was. Now she is rejoicing in Heaven with the Lord and so many other loved ones that have gone on before and I know we all look forward to seeing her again one day. She will be geatly missed.
Love,
Marsha "Killcrease" Crawford

I am sorry I only had the pleasure to meet Debora a few times. My dear friend Terry Cohen was very close to Debora and he spoke of her often, over the decades we have been friends. I spoke with Debora as recently as four weeks ago, at a mutual friend's birthday party. I perceived her to be a very warm, kind, and intelligent woman. I was lead to give her my home number and ask her to call me soon to "do lunch". Tragically, that luncheon between us will have to wait till we meet up in heaven.
My heart truly goes out to all her family and friends who are grieving over her untimely demise. I am sure they all have fond, heartfelt memories of her to keep in their hearts forever. Debora may be gone from this world as we know it, but certainly will never be forgotten.

To the Pope Family,
Carol and I would like to once again express our deepest sympathies to all of you regarding the sudden loss of a dear daughter, sister and aunt. Jim it was wonderful having you as "Best Man" at our wedding. As you remember your sister Debora was a childhood sweatheart of mine when our parents lived and served as missionaries in Brazil. Not having seen Debora as an adult she is still beautiful, vibrant, fun-loving teenager in our memories. As has already been expressed by others we also will miss her and trust that God through His Word, Holy Spirit, and the fellowship of family and friends will comfort your hearts now and in the days to come.

Words cannot express the shock when the phone call came in. I have known Deb for many years and have had the privilege to work with her closely this last year. We not only shared our business life over that time, but became the dearest of friends. My heart hurts deeply and I miss her everyday. She was a true friend and the kindest person you would ever want to know. I still don't believe it. I had the honor to work hand and hand with her on her final design project and know she would have been so proud of our finished product. I will miss her. My deepest sympathy for the family in this horrific loss. All my love, Nicole Roberts

I will always remember Deb dancing on a patio in Mexico, excited to buy her "Man of Steel" at a fabulous Atlanta auction, her talking out loud in the movies, her laughter, and mostly her Design Junkie passion for her work.
She was fascinating with stories of Brazil, and she lit up when she spoke of it. She spoke lovely Portuguese, and we planned to visit Rio one day. My whole family fell in love with her, My late husband Carter was her "dance partner". She will not be as missed as I thought, as I will surely think of her every day.
We love you Deb, this broke our hearts,
