Eunice Lyles Obituary

Marie Lyles -WILLIAMSON-Mrs. Eunice Marie Lyles, age 62, passed away March 5, 2007 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 7 at 2P.M. in the chapel of Moody Funeral Home with Rev. Charles W. Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Moody Memorial Gardens. She was born in Macon on February 24, 1945 to the late Ike Lyles and Edith Oberry Lyles. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred Smith. Marie enjoyed quilting and spending time with her grandchildren. -She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Barbara Kirkley of Williamson; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy and Michael Alford of Ft. Valley and Resa and Gerald Melton of Monroe, NC; grandchildren, Michael Alford, William Christopher Kirkley, Gerald Wayne Melton, Victoria Lynn Kirkley, Steven Melton, Jasmine Melton, Christy Alford, Michael Alford III and Amber; brothers, Ike Lyles, Jr. of Williamson and Jerry Lyles of Locust Grove; sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen Bohanan of Monroe, NC, Louise and Charles Sims of SC, Barbara and Harold Elms of Monroe, NC, Myra and Michael Wilmont of Rex, and Sarah Lyles of Monroe, NC; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. -Friends may visit the family on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. -Moody Funeral Home in Zebulon, GA is in charge of arrangements.
