Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Dear Vikki and Family:

My thoughts are with you, and I still see your Daddy the way he was when we lived in that pastorium--you guys lived across the street.

We had some good times being little kids growing up in Eastman, and your Dad and my Dad were onto us the whole time!!! LOL

May your father rest in peace, and blessings to you and your family now and always. He will be sadly missed by many--but memories remain.

Love you,

Pam Slye Brantley, Chris, Rachel and Wil Brantley

Mrs. Mary & family,
I know you are going to be lost without Mr. Pat. I pray that in time you will be able to think of all the good times you shared with him and it will bring you comfort. It won't be the same without him around here. I'll miss him stopping in at the office, he always had a way to make me laugh. If you need anything, let me know.
