Shirley Chance Obituary
Cochran, GA- Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Sapp Chance, 72, of Cochran who died Tuesday, December 4, 2012 in Coliseum Medical Center in Macon will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday in the Chapel of Fisher Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Ward officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens.
Shirley was a lifelong resident of Bleckley County, the daughter of the late John G. Sapp and Gladys Davis Sapp Upshaw. She was a member of the Cochran High School Class of 1957. She was retired from Robins A.F.B. and former owner of Pine Level Beauty Shop and was a beautician at Bryant Nursing Center. She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Wallace Gordon Sapp, sister, Betty Sapp Jackson and son-in-law, James Ray Hall.
Survivors include a daughter, Robin C. Hall of Hawkinsville; son, John Timothy Chance of Cochran; brother, Lanny (Cheryl) Sapp of Fargo, N.D.; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The family may be contacted at the residence on Jim Wimberly Road and will meet friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday night.
Fisher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Robin , Tim and Family, we are so sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. Although we were only stepsisters, We loved Shirley very much, and our father loved her as a daughter. We will miss her very much.
