She married Oswin E. Pusey, in 1948. Together Ethel and Oswin started a beautiful family legacy beginning with seven children, The "P- Force". Ultimately, their union lead to four generations in which she reared with wisdom and love. Ethel had nine decades and four years of attributes and accomplishments. She was the Owner/Operator of Five Little Fingers Daycare for over 10 years, before retiring. Ethel was a well known Elevator Operator for the historic Realty Building in downtown Youngstown. Proudly, Ethel also helped with the early operations of the Boys and Girls Club of Youngstown; she enjoyed nurturing and working with children. Ethel was a God fearing woman, praying for everyone she met, she gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a Bible enthusiast. She was a member of St. Andrew's AME Church, where she sang in the Choir. She also enjoyed visiting Metropolitan Baptist Church and Destiny International. Her devoted membership in the Floyd In Harmony club helped keep family and friends united. Ethel found joy in music. Playing the piano or an organ while singing opera or a gospel hymn was part of her greatest pastime. Ethel enjoyed cooking especially for the holidays. Her family will never forget her cornbread dressing, sweet potato pie, and hog head cheese sauce meat. Ethel had a love for cowboy movies, and "the soaps". Her favorites were "Gunsmoke" and "The Young and the Restless". Queen Ethel leaves to mourn and cherish her memory four sons, Trevor E.
