Josephine Jaworski Obituary

Josephine N. Jaworski 1924-2010 HATFIELD - Josephine N. (Wojewoda) Jaworski, 86, of School Street, Hatfield, died Wednesday at home. Born in Hadley, February 16, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Angelina (Kubik) Wojewoda. Josephine retired as Head Cook from Gillette House at Smith College, with 24 years of employment. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church in Hatfield, and a member of the Rosary Sodality, a member of the Hatfield American Legion Auxiliary, a member of the DAV Auxiliary, and was a 4-H instructor for knitting and cooking. She leaves her husband Edmund Jaworski, her son Edmund Jaworski, Jr. and his wife Patricia, daughter Patricia Patrick and her husband Tom, all of Hatfield, Barbara Tenanes of Whately, her husband Peter passed away in 2003. Six grandchildren and six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. There will be a religious service Friday, at 10AM in the Drozdal Funeral Home, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Hatfield. Calling hours will be from 9AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Hampshire County, 168 Industrial Drive, Northampton, MA 01060.
