Shirley A. Morin

Shirley A. Morin 1935 - 2011 WARREN - Shirley A. (Calkins) Morin, 76, of East Rd., died Wed-nesday, September 7, 2011 at her home sur-rounded by her loving family. She leaves her husband of 58 years, Roger E. "Buddy" Morin; three sons, Donald Morin and Gary Morin of Warren and Scott Morin of West Brookfield; one brother Gordon Polanski of Fremont, MI; several grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was born and grew up in Palmer, daughter of the late Edna M. Calkins and moved to Warren in 1952. Mrs. Morin worked as a customer service representative for Regency Thermographers in West Brookfield for many years before retiring. She was a member and sexton of the former Federated Church in Warren where she served on several committees and now attends the First Congregational Church in West Brookfield. Shirley was an avid camper and enjoyed crafting. Shirley's family would like to thank all the nurses and staff of the Wing Memorial Oncology Department for there time, help and loving care of Shirley. A Funeral Service for Shirley will be held Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Varnum Funeral Home, Inc., 43 East Main St., West Brookfield. A calling hour will be held prior to the service from 10 to 11 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Knoll Cemetery in Palmer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wing Memorial Hospital, Oncology Department, 40 Wright St., Palmer, MA 01069
