Dennis , George and Atiyeh family , I just found out about the passing of your father last night . I would like to send my condolences and prayers to the family. Although I never met your father , I have heard many wonderful things about him . God has greatly blessed him and his family and he in return has blessed this community with his beautiful caring family. May God lift you all up in this vey difficult time and give you strength , courage and peace to carry on his will together.

I remember when I was a little girl and my dad took me to the WOW outlet to see you. You always gave me shirts and sweatshirts and anything I wanted. All these years later I married your first grandson, part of my memories of you, are what brought me to him. You were a great man and I was humbled to be able to be in your presence during your last hours. Our families already had a wonderful connection and now we are family in marriage. Joshua and I love you very much and we promise to make you proud. Insha Allah we will have 8 kids and I hope they are champions like the ones you raised.

My condolences to the entire Atiyeh family at this loss. I have great memories of his teasing me going back to the early 1970's. He was always interesting. My prayers are for you all through this loss of your last remaining parent and I hope the warm memories of Arif will help heal in the days and weeks to come. I'm going to miss seeing him at 2nd and Allen Streets...

Although we never got to know Uncle Arif personally, we hold a special place for him in our hearts.
Through Don Pepe's stories, (his brother), through some of Joe's, Afaf's and Linda's stories, through Ashley and Joseph and through Karim's memories we feel that we got to know him a little.
We are saddened by his passing but know that he is in a beautiful place with his loved ones.
I pray that all of you find the strength and comfort you need to get through this difficult time.

Your father was a man that never wore his feeling on his sleeve. He was the happiest and sweetest man i ever met. That smile was indelibly etched on his face! My condolences to your entire family. I truly love you all, you have treated me like family since I was 7 years old.
