Gerd Paetz Obituary
Gerd immigrated to Canada from Germany in 1969 to Cultus Lake, BC. In 1981, he moved to Alberta and retired from TransAlta Utilities whereby he moved back to Chilliwack in 2005.
He is survived by his sister Hella (Don) Morton; numerous other relatives in Germany; his friends, especially Mrs. Jo Bishop, Ron McQuat, Chris Sartori all of BC as well as Gary Strachan of Stony Plain. Alberta.
A special "Thank You" To Dr. Tan and the personnel of the "Chemo" room in Abbotsford as well as Dr. Krakawer, Dr. Bull and the staff of the Cascade Hospice in Chilliwack.
If friends desire, memorial tributes in memory of Gerd may be made to the Chilliwack Hospice Society, 45360 Hodgins Ave. Chilliwack, BC V2P 1P5.

Its not quite Christmas without you! I miss our talks , pungent beer and your stories about old times here and in Germany . I will choke down some koning Pilsner and puff on a captain black by your graveside before Christmas..... and leave you some wurthers !!! Your fight with cancer was both sad and inspirational . I really miss you!
