Long time Merced resident Sally Lenora Hamilton Wallace passed away on January 6, 2013 in Merced, CA. Born in Cook Co. Texas to parents John and Myrtle Click, Sally was one of nine children.
She worked as a meat wrapper for Lutes Market in Planada where she retired after many years. Sally will be remembered for her beautiful hand made quilts and china dolls. She loved RVing to the mountains in the summer and the desert in the winter. Sally was also a wonderful hostess, who loved to cook, and her delicious meals will be remembered by many.
She is preceeded in death by her parents and brothers Marion and John Click and her husband's Thomas Hamilton and Rex Wallace. Sally is survived by three brothers and three sisters. Her daughters Barbara Barnett and Melba Hooker (Ed), a son Robert Hamilton (Mary).  Also Betty Hoffman (Stan), Pat Wallace (Linda) and Jeanne Swanson (Ed). Sally also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturay, January 12, 2013 at Christian Church of the Valley, 2212 Cherry Ave. in Merced.
