Marion Kolte Obituary
KOLTE, Marion M.-- passed peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2002 at the age of 85. Native of San Jose.
Beloved wife of Ivan R. Kolte, dear mother of Richard Kolte, Carolyn Pels, Kathryn Fregger, Nancy Leach, Arlene Smith-Pearsall, and Janis Miller, loving grandmother of 12, proud great-grandmother of 20, along with many nieces and nephews.
Graduate and Associate Professor Emeritus at San Jose State University, Department of Education, Teacher Training. Marion will be remembered as a consummate teacher of 28 years, specialist of creative handwriting, artisan of original handwork, oil painting, and seamstress of many, many little girl's dresses.
The family respectfully requests no floral gifts, donations to Alzheimer's Association of America, 2065 W. El Camino Real, Mountain View, CA 94040, or Memorial Fund, Stone Church of Willow Glen, 1108 Clark Way, San Jose, CA 95125.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. at Stone Church of Willow Glen, 1108 Clark Way, San Jose.
