MICHAEL ELLIOTT
It is with great sadness that the family of Michael "Mike" Wayne Elliott announces that he passed away in the early hours of Tuesday, August 7th, 2018, at the age of 45. He was currently living in North Richland Hills, Texas.
Mike was born on July 19, 1973 in Manhattan, KS to Allan Wayne Elliott and Carolyn Sue Breazeale Elliott. He grew up in Manhattan, KS. He went to Kansas Wesleyan College in Salina KS, and also went to Ohio State in Columbus, OH. He also lived in Brigham City, UT; Los Gatos, CA; Lufkin, TX; and North Richland Hills, TX.
Mike left behind his wife of almost 16 years, Maren Nelson Elliott and two boys, Allan "Ace" Chance Elliott (11), and Lev Nelson Elliott (8). He also left behind his mother, Carolyn Elliott, two sisters Connie Harrop (husband Mark Harrop; son Nickolas Harrop), and Andrianna Matthews (husband Michael Matthews). Also his uncles Joe Breazeale, Maurice Elliott and Warren Elliott.
He was proceeded in death by his younger brother Mark Allan Elliott and father Allan Wayne Elliott, also his mother-in-law Margo Johnson Nelson; as well as all of his grandparents.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday August 14, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2812 Marlatt Avenue in Manhattan. The family will greet friends at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in the Sunrise Cemetery in Manhattan.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Michael Elliott Memorial Fund (to be used for his children). Contributions may be left in care of the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas 66502.
