Leslie, Steve´s sister was my friend in highschool. I´ll always remember her brothers´ Tad and Steve as a team. They were independent yet very close to one another. I never had brothers so I was always intrigued that they were Leslie´s "big brothers". We listened to Steves records while he was probably at football practice and were there for some great parties at the Gravatt House. I still have a flier for one! Good family. Good people. My love goes out to all the Mason´s. Especially Leslie. Hope to see you all at a later date.

Kindness and generosity, check. Steve showed up, check. We lived 5 hours apart and saw each other often, check. The world's and my and my lady's and Steve's circle of friends' QUALITY OF LIFE are deeply and joyfully better because of Steve Mason's soul. I miss my friend and brother, but I'm more grateful than I am sad.
Amen
