Clementine Garcia Obituary

Clementine Katie (Petrucci) Garcia, 95, of Framingham, formerly of Edgewater, FL passed away on January 13, 2013. She was the beloved wife of the late David Garcia who passed away in 1986. Born in Columbus , Ohio, Katie grew up in Ida May, WVa and moved with her family to Detroit, MI in 1942. She spent her time as a homemaker , bringing up her three sons and later worked for and retired as a top salesperson from Winkelmans Inc. She and her husband then moved to Florida. Katie loved her role as a devoted and giving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her greatest joy was her family and she was dearly loved by her family and friends. Katie was a fantastic cook, and won many prizes for her original recipes, especiall her Grandmother Cookies. Katie was an avid reader , loved movies and keeping in touch with family and friends on the internet. She is survived by her two devoted children, Dave Garcia and his wife Margaret and Anthony Garcia. She was pre-diseased by her son Robert Garcia. Katie was the cherished grandmother of David Garcia III, Joseph Garcia and his wife Suzanne and Kevin Garcia. She was also the great grandmother of Joseph Garcia, Teddy Garcia and Jessica Garcia . She is also survived by her brother Lawrenc e and her devoted niece Anita Jones. Arrangements are under the direction of the Eugene J. McCarthy & Son Funeral Home in Framingham. A family memorial will be held at a later date.
