Dear Philip!
I am so sorry for your loss! When we read your email that day, we couldn't believe it. I have been thinking and reminding myself, almost everyday, about how sweet, beautiful, godly and nobel women of God Janet was and still is in our hearts and minds. I wish I can be just like her at her age. I have been praying for you almost everyday and will keep doing this. I pray that God's peace and comfort will shield your heart and mind as you go through this deep grief :( We want you to know that eventhough we are miles away, our souls are there, crying with you. Love, Lida

Phil, I am sorry that I did not get to know Janet better. You didn't have to know her well to know that she was a wonderful lady. Know you had many good years and I pray for you in your grief. Take care of yourself. Wilma

Gustin Family,
We are so sorry for your loss. The world is a little less bright without Janet's smile and cheerful disposition. We always enjoyed visiting with Janet and Phil when they walked in our neighborhood and keeping up with them through Kathy after we moved to Florida. We regret that we cannot attend the funeral but we will be there in spirit. Janet will be watching over all of you until you meet her again. Until then, may you find comfort and peace through faith and fond memories. Love, Gary and Kim Legion

To the Gustin Family,
Janet and her family were all a part of the Nashville United Church of Christ, West Milton, Ohio, many years ago. We all attended choir together where her mother, Lillie was the director. We had a great time together at Bible school as well. Janet was a wonderful childhood friend. We are sadden to hear of her passing. May God be with all the relatives as they go through this time of sorrow. Sincerely, Kent and Charlotte (Eidemiller) Genslinger, Germantown, Ohio

Kathy, as you know I admired your mom greatly. Her love for her family was unmatched. I'll never forget coming home from a girls' trip and seeing your mom waiting for you at the airport. She had tears in her eyes because she was so happy to see you home safe and sound. She was always smiling and very kind, and you were blessed to have her for your mama! I know she will forever be smiling down on you. Xxoo

Words cannot express how I feel for this amazing woman and family. She truly inspired me to be a better person inside and out. Her smile and God-filled heart would light up the room whenever Janet walked in! I learned so much about life and the Lord from Janet. Phil and Janet have touched so many lives together. I pray for healing and comfort for your family! It's so hard to see her gone but I know she is with our Lord and Savior and will see her again soon!
