SIDNEY -- Krista M. Hesselbein, age 75, of Sidney, Ohio, was called home to the Lord on January 15, 2022. Friends may call Sunday February 6, 2022 from 1-3 P.M. at Salm-McGill & Tangeman Funeral Home.

Dear family of Krista, I had the privilege of meeting your folks thru Sock and Buskin in Sidney. What a super couple. I have nothing but great memories of that time spent rehearsing and working on lines with that very special group. Your mom was a special lady and I know how much you all will miss her. Memories of her will help you through your grief. So sorry for your loss, Marline

You girls are in my thoughts. I had came there as a child. Laura was my friend many years ago. They was to nicest parents you could ever ask for. She made us costumes and I enjoyed going there. RIH

Cast parties at the close of a play were not the same without the Hesselbeins - Karl´s wit, Krista´s smile and their down-to-earth `let´s have fun´ attitudes, made volunteering and socializing with them a wonderful experience. Karl, Krista and their daughter attend a S&B St. Patrick´s Day party along with close friend, Marguerite McGlinch which was planned by myself, Sherrie Casad-Lodge, Lisa Whittenberger and Tom Homan. We all had decades of fun entertaining Shelby County residents. As a former Amos Press employee, I also used the library regularly and spent time getting help from the librarian - Krista. In later years, I would see her at the Amos Press Retiree dinners. All of our sympathy goes out to their three children and extended family. The Hesselbeins will be missed. David Lodge and Sherrie Casad-Lodge.
