Richard W (Dickie) Westfall

Richard William Westfall is starting his new life, walking in the kingdom of Heaven. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 49 years Anita Westfall, daughter Colleen Reece of Modesto, sons Robert Westfall and David Westfall both of Modesto Ca., and 9 grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held, Sunday Aug 5th, at Trinity Baptist Church 1346 Ronald Ave. Modesto Ca, at 10:45 a.m.. There will be a potluck following the service.

Uncle Richard when I learned of your passing I was saddened. Then I remembered all the times we would visit,and have fun whether we played croquet,horseshoes,played with lady, or just played with our cousins. You were always there with a smile.I will miss your bar-b-ques, and I espicially miss your ribbing of Aunt Annie.

We were sorry to learn of the passing of Uncle Richard. He was a kind, thoughtful person and always welcoming and hospitable when we visited. We are also grateful for his Christian faith and know that he is safe at home with God. We will miss him, and we will all remember him fondly.

When I found out you had passed I was bummed out. But then I reflected on the good times I had talking to you about Da Bearz & the Seattle Seahawks. I also recall how you would tell me when I was little how you would squish black widows with your thumbs! I'd be like wow!! As I look back I crack up & I remember the good times!
