John Womack Obituary

John H. Womack, 75, of Midland died July 9, 2015 in Midland. He was born February 5, 1940 in Wilson, Texas to Al and Gladys Womack. He married Vivian Oldham, October 29, 1958; she preceded him in death December 7, 2014. John was the owner of Womack Automatic Doors, retiring in December 2007. He is survived by daughters; Lori Runyon and husband, David of Merkel, and Sandy Underwood and husband Jimmy of Midland; son, David Womack and wife, Tonya of Midland; grandchildren, Tabitha and Zane Honeyfield, Justin and Sandy Womack, Amanda and Chris Burton, Cody and Teresa Womack, Cooper Womack, Brianna Womack, Alexandrea Honeyfield, Jayden Honeyfield, Dayne Burton, Colton Womack, Jace Womack, and Casen Womack; and by eight great grandchildren. He also survived by a sister, Elsie Hullum and husband, George; and by a brother, Kenneth Womack and wife, Barbara. Visitation will be on Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 13, 2015 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with George Hullum officiating. If desired, memorials may be made to Hospice of Midland.
