Stacie Lynn Tingen

1969 - 2022

Stacie Lynn Tingen passed away surrounded by family on January 8, 2022 at the age of 52.

She was born in Baltimore, MD on June 1, 1969, the daughter of the Late Earl and Sylvia Pumphrey. They moved to North Carolina for a while and then to Chestertown, MD, where she grew up. She graduated with the class of 1987 from Queen Anne's County High School.

Stacie attended Beaver College (now Acadia College) in Glendale, PA and received her BA in Graphic Design. She then moved back to Chestertown and began working as a graphic designer, commuting across the Bay Bridge to URS in Gaithersburg, MD for years before taking a position with Tidewater Publishing in Centreville, MD. She met her husband, Christopher Allan Tingen, at a pizza shop. From then on, the two fell in love, were married, and went on to have two loving sons.

Stacie had a personality that made people smile. she was a TikTok creator and loved her small dogs, but most of all, she loved her boys.

She is predeceased by her husband, Christopher Allan Tingen (2011) and her brother, David Lance Pumphrey (2017).

She is survived by her two sons, Christopher Lance Tingen (Cheyeanne Parks) and Ethan Charles Tingen.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 12pm at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home at 130 Speer Rd. Chestertown MD 21620. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the funeral home one hour prior.
