Allyson Spurrier "Ally" Henson

Allyson Spurrier Henson, affectionately known as Ally, aged 46, passed away November 1, 2025. She was at home surrounded by friends and family. Ally courageously fought breast cancer for the past 12 years.

Ally was born June 23, 1979 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and grew up in Indian Trail, NC. Ally is survived by her mother Sandra Dixon Threlkeld (husband Scott), and her father David Spurrier (wife Katie), Step mother Lu Ellen Long, her father-in-law, Maurice Henson (wife Jo). Proceeded in death by her mother-in-law, Denise Henson. Ally is survived by her brothers and sister Bryan (wife Crystal), Syeth, Corbyn (wife Emily), Bayleigh, and Schuyler Spurrier. Survived by Brother-in-law Adrian Henson (wife Betty Anne).

Ally married Bradley Henson April 22, 2000, they recently celebrated 25 years. Ally is survived by her loving husband Bradley Henson and their four children Daisy(22), Cooper(21), Khaleal(19), and Slater(14).

She fiercely loved her family and her friends leaving behind her childhood friend Carrie Harwood. Ally also loved her church, softball, and the Braves. She had a strong and unwavering faith in Jesus that sustained her as she continued to live life to the fullest even after her diagnosis. Ally is leaving behind a legacy of love for all who were lucky enough to know her.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Ally's name to first Baptist Church of Indian Trail.
