Audrey Elizabeth Lynch Powell age 88 of Glade Hill passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at her home. She was a long-time member of Redwood United Methodist Church and retired from M & W Manufacturing. She was a devoted wife and mother and was loved by all and will be missed.
She was born on August 8, 1934 a daughter of the late Everett and Ethel Lynch and was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Powell; her son, Tony Powell; sister, Frances Hall (Curtis); brother, John Thomas "J.T." Lynch; nephew, Glenwood Housman; niece, Linda Housman Bowles; and nephew, Teddy Lynch.
Audrey is survived by her niece, Kathy Thompson (Emmett); nephew, Steve Lynch (Ginger). She is also survived by her great-nieces, Michelle Bondurant (Jay), Annette Gibson (Jackie), Sheila Grant (William), Cindy Turner (William), and Cristi Abner (Bobby); great-nephew, Randy Arrington (Paula); special sister-in-law, Louise Lynch. Audrey had two great-great-nieces that she loved as her granddaughters, Morgan and Ashley Bondurant.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Henry Fork Church of the Brethren with Pastor Ronald Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in the Powell Family Cemetery at the home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church beginning at 1 PM.
Food and flowers will be accepted at the home for those desiring to do so.
