Bennie Davis Jr.

Bennie Rosevelt Davis Jr., son of Bennie and Alfreda Davis Sr., abruptly departed this earth and ascended to Heaven on Monday, March 14, 2022.
Bennie grew up in Irmo South Carolina, where he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. In 1986, he joined St. Peter Baptist church. As active as a young man could be, Bennie sang on the youth choir and performed his Christian duties throughout the church. He attended both, Irmo and Dutch Fork High Schools and received his diploma from the latter, in 1994. Continuing his studies, Bennie furthered his education at St. Augustine's University and later, Midlands Technical College. In 2005, he began his career with GardaWorld and after years of hard work and dedication, he was awarded the title of, Branch Lead and Weekend Supervisor.
Although he is absent from the flesh, Bennie's kind heart, gentle spirit will be cherished by many. He leaves to celebrate his life: a special family friend, Ninika Davis; two sisters, Antoinetta "Toni" Davis, and Vernetta D. Odom, of Irmo, South Carolina; one brother, Mark Tucker of Orlando, Florida, two aunts, Cecelia Jamison, of Rockhill, South Carolina, and April Williams, of Columbia, South Carolina; one uncle, Melvin (Sandra) Davis, Sr., Columbia, South Carolina; a special aunt, Vernetta D. Riley, of Irmo, South Carolina; four nephews, six nieces, and a host of dedicated friends and family.
