Beth Gilgen Obituary
She was born August 6, 1931 to Harry and Vera Gallentine in Van Cleve, IA and attended Van Cleve and Melbourne schools. She was united in marriage to William Gilgen December 15, 1951. Together they raised four boys, Randall (Ruth) of Marshalltown, David (Laura) of Raleigh, NC, Barry (Karen) of Marshalltown and Gavin of Durham, NC. She is survived by her sons as well as many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband William, parents Harry and Vera, sister Garnet, and brothers Maynard, Dale and Vern.
Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded under the care of Mitchell Family Funeral Home and no services are planned.
