Kerri Erin Ketcham, 47, of Albion, Iowa passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at UnityPoint Health in Marshalltown, Iowa.
Funeral services for Kerri will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Kerri Erin Steeve was born on July 20, 1978 in Maryville, Missouri. She was the daughter of Allen and Linda (Irvin) Steeve. She graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in Kansas in 1997, and went on to Iowa State University to receive her bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Systems Technology in 2001. On July 13, 2002, Kerri was united in marriage to Michael Ketcham in Marshalltown, Iowa. Kerri had previously worked for Woodbury School as a paraeducator and had worked at the Appliance Doctor as an office manager. Kerri was very active with the Boy Scout Troop #310. She enjoyed doing crafts and gardening. Kerri was caring, selfless and patient. She adored her family and will be missed by many.
Kerri is survived by her husband of twenty-three years: Michael, children: Trevor (Emma) Ketcham of Marshalltown and Derek (Tarryn) Ketcham of Marshalltown, mother: Linda Steeve of Shawnee, Kansas, sister: Jamie (AJ) Steeve of Overland Park, Kansas; mother-in-law: Linda Ketcham of Marshalltown, brother-in-law: Mark (Natalie) Ketcham and nieces: Makenzie and Lexi Ketcham of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Kerri is preceded in death by her father: Allen Steeve and father-in-law: John Ketcham.
