Betty Claire Pulte

Betty Claire Pulte entered her eternal rest the evening of December 4, 2023, at the age of 86. She was greeted with loving arms by the love of her life Billy J. Pulte, her husband of 60 years.

Betty was born in Idabel, Oklahoma, to Willa Maye Smith and George Lee. She and her husband worked and traveled the oilfields of Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Texas.  Then later made their home in Tool, Texas, having been a resident there for over 40 years. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her family, laughter, and reading books was her favorite past time.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Billy J. Pulte; her parents; daughter, Vicki Lynn Williams; siblings, Dawn Wallace, Martha Bates, Sherrill Busby, and Willard Wilson; and her best friend, Kay Clark.

Betty leaves to cherish her memory children, Billy Dan Pulte of Tool, Texas; Tracy Pulte of Tool, Texas; and Bradley Pulte of Tool, Texas; grandchildren, Tahnee Johnson of Idabel, Oklahoma; Rhonda Ramirez of Lovington, New Mexico; and Charles Williams of Carlsbad, New Mexico; seven great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
